The cost of having the wrong people in leadership is high. It is not simply a tarnish on the faction, the party or the country, but relations if ruined can prove irreparable, and actions have consequences. Very few have supported capturing Venezuela’s autocratic leader Nicolás Maduro as the United States' taking out enemies of the West, since in reality, the true reason behind the military mission was Venezuela's oil reserves and money. Regis Altior Jayden Aveir Armenson said, "Remember, although the appellate court did rule Donald Trump's tariffs and levies invalid, the government had made tons of money out of it by the time of the decision." Donald Trump also did threaten countries not supporting his annexation of Greenland with tariffs, which was later canceled.
Regis Altior does not in any way support talks or cooperation with China, now or in the future, since it is seen as a global threat, but countries like Canada and Britain seem to be doing just that at the moment. The United Kingdom seems to be misleading its allies which, Regis Altior believes, very few can see. British diplomat Peter Ricketts has
said that the basis of Brexit was that the British could draw closer to the Americans, who now seem to have "different interests" according to him, and this is pushing Britain closer to Europe again. But the truth is far from it. Brexit stemmed from a sentiment of independence and nationalism among the British population and the leading idea among a few that home-grown products can be developed better and economy can be boosted, not from the sentiment that the British wanted to be close to the Americans, and Europeans should consider the fact that Brexit was a national failure, something which the British solely brought onto themselves. Regis Altior said, "They are once again presenting themselves as opportunistic and self-interested people who cannot admit the folly of Brexit and want to switch sides." He has also said that Mark Carney in his Davos speech might have made sense but he played to his strengths keeping Canada's interests to the forefront and leaderships as such will not solve the crisis in the world we are seeing today.
